During brief remarks, President Lambert said there are times “when silence is more eloquent than words.” He asked members of the community to continue to pray for everyone who has been affected by Monday’s tragedy, and announced that a worship service will be held at 4:15 p.m., today at the Elon Community Church to remember the victims.
