Dr. Pranab Das gave a valedictory address at the Symposium “Information as Science and Spirituality” at the India Habitat Center in New Delhi, India on March 19. His talk, “Reflections on Information: Proto-Epistemology and Meta Ontology,” focused on the building blocks of epistemology and the key role that linguistic richness can play in exposing new idea structures and the possibility of talking about ultimate realities without having to espouse one particular ontology.
Also delivering a valedictory talk was Dr. Karan Singh, the former Crown Prince of Kashmir, a cabinet member in Indian administrations and one of India’s greatest living intellectuals.
