Students enrolled in General College Physics II (PHY112) were asked to take to their cameras this semester in search of interesting physics. Students submitted over 200 photographs along with physics explanations into natural and contrived categories. The physics department awarded prizes for the top three photographs in each category.
Alexa Jurak won first place in the natural category for her photograph “Mountain Reflection,” and Laura Bouvin received first place in the contrived category for her photograph “Bowl of Water.”
