Students and advises who plan to transfer or withdraw from Elon following completion of this semester should come by the Office of Student Development (Moseley 206) between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm May 9-11 and May 14-16 to officially withdraw. The process takes about 30 minutes and involves some paperwork, obtaining clearance signatures from some offices and participating a brief exit interview with a member of the Student Life staff.
Students should note that academic standing (i.e. suspensions) supersede the withdrawal process and that if a student withdraws but is academically suspended once grades are posted, then the academic suspension overrides the withdrawal. I sometimes have students who believe that withdrawing at semester’s end will mean that will not be suspended following the posting of their grades.
