Business? Communications? Computer Informations Systems? Religious Studies? Political Science? International Studies? A foreign language? Biology? Human Services? It doesn’t matter, you have a place in Model United Nations.
The Model United Nations Society at Elon University is looking for new members. The Society is designing an Intercollegiate International Crisis Conference. Not interested in international politics? That’s fine, we need people to manage all aspects of the conference! Communications Majors – we need people to write news stories. CIS Majors – we need database managers. Business Majors – build your leadership skills and help us market our conference! Everyone, you can build your resume and give an up and coming organization on campus a leg up! We need lots of help to make our conference successful.
You’d need to come to four club meetings throughout Fall Semester on Monday evenings and Spring Semester on Monday evenings but you are more than welcome to enroll in the Model UN class (1 sh. credit – listed as POL 114E). The conference will be in the spring, but there will be a practice run with International Relations classes in the fall. We need you for both.
Check out our website, listed below, and contact Mike Donofrio (mdonofrio@elon.edu) or Kelly McCarty (kmccarty@elon.edu) if you are interested in joining.
