The Elon Law Team raised over $1,000 for the American Heart Association by participating in the Guilford Heart & Stroke Walk on Saturday, June 9. The Elon team joined over 2,800 participants from Greensboro, Guilford County and the Triad in the 3.2 mile non-competitive walk around Greensboro’s Country Park. The event aimed to raise over $400,000 to aid in the fight against heart disease.
“This was an excellent opportunity for Elon Law to engage with the Triad community and help a worthy cause,“ said Alan Woodlief, the law school’s team captain and associate dean for admissions and administration. “We were excited to double our fundraising from last year and look forward to participating again next year.”
