The US Women’s Open Golf Tournament will be held at Pine Needles Golf Club in Southern Pines, NC beginning Monday June 25th through Sunday July 1st, 2007. The LSM Society is seeking individuals interested in watching the golf tournament for free – in exchange for volunteering 4 hours at the Carolina Pavilion – a large air-conditioned concessions tent on the golf course.
Various 4-hour shifts are available and you, your spouse, your children 15 and over, family, friends, friends of friends, etc. Anyone can volunteer to assist. Tournament proceeds will benefit the LSM Department’s endowed scholarship drive (the first award to be extended in Fall 2007).
