The Business Development and Community Internship is a great way for students to gain valuable experience in the media industry. Duties include attending and assisting with station-sponsored events, writing station newsletters, conducting local community and market research, and assisting with station tours. Students also fulfill Triangle Wishes and assist with NBC 17 Wake-Up Calls.
Applicants should be creative, computer savvy and able to work on a variety of tasks at once. Applicants must show initiative, be motivated and be able to work in a team environment as well as take direction. Students must be able to work a few nights and weekends for station events. This is a part-time and unpaid internship. Students must receive class credit upon completion of the internship. EOE
