Three Elon faculty presented at the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning 2007 Conference in Sydney, Australia, in July.
Stephen Schulman, assistant professor of philosophy, gave the paper “On Student Note-Taking” and also led a workshop, with Betsy Decyk of Cal State-Long Beach, on ”SoTL Sonar: A workshop/discussion of projects and methodologies which listen to student voices to locate learning.,”
Maureen Vandermaas-Peeler, professor of psychology, and Gabie Smith, associate professor of psychology, presented two studies:
