Summer internship deadline is NOVEMBER 1, 2007
The largest group of interns works in metro on general assignment. Other intern reporters are assigned to sports, living/arts, and business. There are also internships in photography and graphics.
An aptitude for newspaper work is the most important qualification for the internship. Applicants must have had at least one internship at a daily newspaper and have a valid driver’s license.
Internships are paid weekly with varying shifts, but summer interns are expected to work full time for 12 weeks.
