Time is running out to sign up today for your team to enter the Walkathon!
What: A four-hour walk-a-thon to raise money and awareness for the Schools for Schools campaign for Elon’s chapter of Invisible Children.
Where & When: Track behind Rhodes Stadium from 5-9 p.m. on Oct. 20.
Who: Team of five to ten people and as many “fans” as you can recruit.
How: Register by Oct. 5. Each team member’s registration fee is $12 per person (includes t-shirt). Pick up a packet to register in Kernodle Center or contact Katie Meyer (kmeyer3@elon.edu).
Why: Money raised builds a school in Uganda by Elon’s chapter. Why else? Food, games, music and tons of great prizes.
