Research Policy Interns


 


Location: Chapel Hill


Exciting and unique opportunity to be part of a statewide Democratic campaign. A

successful candidate should have a strong interest in government and public policy.

Qualifications include solid writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills and the

ability to analyze complex issues. Duties include: conducting web-based and literature

research on national and state public policy issues, drafting briefing memos and

presenting research results.


Candidate will be instrumental in framing platforms based on local concerns within the

larger context of our national debate. Knowledge of North Carolina is desirable.

Internships are unpaid but intern will gain hands-on insider view of strategies and

policies in a major campaign.


This is a great opportunity for individuals considering graduate school in economics, public policy or law. Flexible commitment of 15-20 hours per week. College juniors, seniors and recent graduates are encouraged to e-mail resume
