The sisters of Alpha Chi Omega are pleased to announce their first
annual 5K Race Against Domestic Violence at Elon University. We are hoping to make this event a success on
our campus and we are looking for individuals and groups to sign up to walk or run as we race against domestic violence.The race will take place on Friday, Oct. 19, at 4 pm on and
around Elon University’s campus. Runners will need to arrive by 3:30 pm to
ensure an on-time start. All proceeds from this event will go to benefit Family
Abuse Services of Burlington, NC. The
entry cost is $10, and all runners will receive a free t-shirt. Prizes will also be given to the first place
winner in the male and female division, and also to the runner who raises the
most sponsorship.
Runners can sign up in person at Elon University in the Moseley
Center on the following dates:
9/24, 9/26, 9/28, 10/2, 10/4. 10/8-10/11, 10/17, 10/18.
