Flu vaccines will be administered FREE to all students, faculty, and staff (full time and part time) starting Monday, Nov. 5 from 9-4 in the Hearth Lounge in the Moseley Center (through November 9 or as long as our supplies last). The Ellington Center received approximately 1,700 doses of the vaccine; however, we suggest you come as early as possible since we anticipate high demand for the vaccine this year. You will need to present your Phoenix Card at time of service to receive the free vaccine.
Spouses, retired employees, qualified domestic partners and children over the age of 12 years old are eligible to receive the vaccines for a $15.00 fee (cash or check, payable at time of service). We must limit the administration to those over 12 years old because our dosages are pre-measured for an adolescent/adult population. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
More information about the flu, prevention tips and flu vaccines can be accessed at the Centers for Disease Control web site at http://www.cdc.gov/flu/
