The spring class Stephen Schulman, assistant professor of philosophy, will be co-teaching with five other faculty and a community activist was highlighted in a series by Jeri Rowe of Greensboro’s News & Record. Rowe has written a series of articles about how Greensboro can heal, and the class, “Reclaiming Democracy: Dialogue, Decision-Making and Community Action,” to be held in the spring semester at the Elon University School of Law, is touted as an opportunity for “frank discussions about Greensboro’s struggle with civil rights and social justice.” The class is open to Elon students as well as students from UNCG, Guilford College, NC A & T State University, Bennett College and Greensboro College, and is also open to others in the Greensboro area.
