Platania research featured in Sports Illustrated

Sports Illustrated publicized research conducted by a trio of economists, including an Elon University assistant professor, in a story first posted online on Jan. 23, 2008. Magazine writer Andy Staples reported on the economic factors that influence high school football recruits who must decide which university they wish to attend to continue their athletics careers. Assistant professor Jennifer Platania was part of the team that published its findings in the most recent edition of the Journal of Sports Economics.
