Kathy Gallucci and Jeffrey Coker participated in the symposium “Using Inquiry Approaches in the College General Biology Laboratory” at the National Association of Biology Teachers (NABT) Professional Development Conference in Atlanta from Nov. 28-Dec. 1, 2007.
Gallucci’s presentation was titled, “The Evolution of Inquiry Approaches to Classroom and Laboratory Instruction,” and Coker’s presentation was titled, “Student-Designed Experiments in Introductory Biology for Non-majors.” Gallucci also presented a poster, “The Effect of the Case Study Method on Student Alternative Conceptions in Biology,” during the Four Year College Section Poster Session.
