Bored? Want to get involved in something that’s worth your time?
Come join a fun group of people trying to make a difference both locally and globally. Amnesty International meets every Tuesday night at 8 in Belk Library, room 206, to discuss all kinds of human rights issues including (but not limited to):
– Violence against women
– Conflict diamonds
– The death penalty
– The torture debate
– Extraordinary rendition
– The trouble with Guantanamo
– Katrina relief
– And any other issues you are interested in!
So try something new and see how much of a difference one person (YOU!) can make! Any questions or concerns, please email Heather Johnson at hjohnson12@elon.edu, or Neal Suchak at nsuchak@elon.edu. See you Tuesday night!
