Did you miss out on celebrating Carnival or Mardi Gras? Intercultural Relations Club is hosting an International Carnival where you can experience aspects of carnivals from around the world. We’ll also have a treasure hunt and a costume contest, and first place teams will win prizes. If you would like to sign up for either of these events, please e-mail irc@elon.edu with your name (or names if it’s for the treasure hunt) and organization (if applicable). There is no entry fee.
And at the same time, you can learn about Hurricane Katrina Relief efforts in New Orleans and other areas. Many families have still not been able to return home, and we want to help change this! We’ll watch an Amnesty International video about the situation in New Orleans and hear from Elon students who have been down to Louisiana and Mississippi on Elon service trips.

The event is Saturday, March 1, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Jordan Gym. E-mail irc@elon.edu if you have questions or are interested in helping out!
