Elon students, faculty and staff are invited to meet four candidates scheduled to visit campus in the coming weeks as the university looks to hire its first sustainability coordinator, a person who will help the institution become even more environmentally friendly in its growth and actions.
The University Environmental Advisory Council has been conducting a search for a sustainability coordinator for a few months. Each candidate will be making a presentation responding to the question: “What is your vision for the future of sustainability at Elon University? Where would you take us and on what would your focus be, being as specific as you can?”
There will be time for questions at the end of each presentation. Following every presentation all faculty, staff and students are invited to meet with the candidate, particularly if they were not able to attend the presentation or had other longer questions.
