Rebecca Pope-Ruark, an assistant professor of English in theProfessional Writing and Rhetoric concentration, recently published a shortpedagogical article in the March 2008 issue of Business Communication Quarterly.
“The Interview Project:Reinforcing Business Communication Competence” details asuccessful engaged learning project Pope-Ruark used in businesscommunication courses to increase students’ awareness of professionalcommunication standards in the workplace and rhetorical decision-making strategieswhile collecting information.
