Bill Gradison, a founding member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and a former U.S. congressman, visits campus on April 1 for a reception and a question-and-answer session in the Koury Business Center.
All students, staff and community members are invited to attend. The reception begins at 6 p.m. The question-and-answer period starts at 6:30 in the LaRose Digital Theatre.
Gradison is currently serving a five-year term with the PCAOB and served as acting chairman from 2005 to 2006. The PCAOB is regulated by the SEC and was created by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. During his 18 years in Congress, Gradison spent time as the ranking member of the House Budget Committee and the Health Subcommittee of the Committee on Ways and Means.
