An Elon University political science professor has been elected to a prominent position in the International Studies Association for the upcoming academic year.
Laura Roselle was selected by her peers last week to serve as president of the International Communication (ICOMM) Section of the International Studies Association for 2008-2009 at the ISA’s annual meeting in San Francisco.
Roselle served as program chair for the ICOMM section for the meeting this year, organizing over 30 panels on issues related to media, technology, communication and international relations.
She also wrote a paper for a pre-conference workshop on cyberinfrastructure policy research agendas, and chaired two conference sessions: “Framing Foreign Policy” and “Media, War, and International Relations.”
