Charles Kimball, “When Religion Becomes
Evil”
Whitley Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.
Charles Kimball is a professor of
religion at Wake Forest University and a professor of
comparative religion at Wake Forest Divinity School. In 2002,
Kimball authored an intriguing study into the ways that
religion can be corrupted. Every religion has the capacity to
work either for good or evil, and he contends that there are
five warning signs that can be recognized when religion moves
toward the latter.
