Gefen Productions has over 25 years of experience in trend reporting for the furniture and home industries and is taking that knowledge and expertise to the web in a dynamic site, TheHome.com.
We are currently seeking an entry-level writer and editor to manage content for the site. The position will work closely with our web & marketing coordinator to create editorial calendars, build content and edit contributing works.
This position is a part time internship for summer 2008, with the opportunity for full-time employment in the fall of 008.
Qualifications:
? Degree in journalism, English, communications or related field
? Experience and interest in writing for editorial or magazine-style publications
? Strong interviewing skills and ghost-writing capabilities
? Excellent organizational and time management skills
? Ability to work under tight deadlines
? Candidates with interest in home décor, design, fashion and home improvement preferred
? 2008 Graduates preferred, but will consider other applicants
This is a paid internship.
Start date: As soon as possible (May 2008)
End date: August 2008, or internship has the potential for full time employment in fall 2008.
