The students were recognized for their achievement at an induction ceremony on April 28.
Elon University's Phi Kappa Phi chapter held a special ceremony April 28 to recognize the achievements of its newest inductees.
The new initiates were selected for membership from the upper 7.5% of the junior class and upper 10% of the senior and graduate classes. Faculty, professional staff and alumni who achieve scholarly distinction also qualify for acceptance into the society.
President Leo M. Lambert gave the welcome and opening remarks and Dr. Russell Gill, professor of English, gave the keynote address.
