A River's Reach, a new film involving students and staff from the School of Communications and Project Pericles, debuts next week at the Paramount Theater in downtown Burlington.
The film, a short narrative movie that raises questions about living as a global citizen, includes cast members from the Elon University theater department and a significant number of local community members.
A River’s Reach premieres May 12 and 13 at the theater (128 E. Front St.) and is followed by a reception in the lobby. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10. Proceeds benefit the Centro La Comunidad in Burlington.
The film was written and directed by Jim Goodman, an instructor on the School of Communication.
“A River’s Reach” tickets are now on sale at the Elon University Box Office in Fine Arts. Tickets will also be on sale in Moseley on Friday, May 9, or can be ordered over the phone by calling the Paramount Theater at 222-8497.
