Mihans’ article examines the retention of teachers

Richard Mihans, an assistant professor of education, will have an article published in the June 2008 edition of Phi Delta Kappan. “Teachers Leading Teachers” examines the dilemma facing novice teachers and how veteran teachers can help retain high quality talent. The article is timely in that 1 in 3 new teachers leave the profession within the first three years.
