Philip D. Stuart, a partner with the Burlington accounting firm of Stout, Stuart, McGowen & King LLP and a member of the Board of Advisors in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, has been named Alamance County Man of the Year by the Boy Scouts.
Stuart was presented the award last week by Elon University head football coach Pete Lembo at a banquet at the Alamance Country Club.
The Boy Scouts have named an Alamance County Man of the Year since 1989, honoring outstanding leaders in the community.
Stuart is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and a graduate of the College for Financial Planning, according to his profile on the firm’s web site.
