E-Net has added a few new features and some new programming that will improve reliability and meet ADA/Section 508 accessibility standards. One of the biggest changes is the new "Tools" link in the header that gives users throughout the site quick access to campus directories, OnTrack, Blackboard and other resources. More...
The new E-Net features also allow for easier access to older notes by clicking the “+ more” link at the bottom of each section of the E-Net home page. Individual note pages allow users to forward a note by e-mail and share Elon news via a variety of social network systems such as del.icio.us, Technorati, StumbleUpon and Digg. You can also see a photo in larger size by clicking on the small version on a note page.
The E-Net calendar now includes a feature that allows users to read a note on an upcoming event, then click on a link in the right sidebar to add that event to a personal calendar program such as Outlook, iCal, Entourage, Google, etc.
The new E-Net also includes a view that is optimized for mobile devices. Just use the same E-Net address on your iPhone or mobile telephone and you’ll get a quick look at the latest E-Net content.
