New faculty member: Henry Gabriel, visiting professor of law

Henry Gabriel comes to Elon from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, where he has served on the faculty since 1984. Since 1998, he has been the De Van Daggett Professor of Law, teaching courses in contracts, commercial law, Federal appellate advocacy, international arbitration and international business transactions.
Elon Academy receives grant for business program

The Elon Academy, a three-year enrichment and leadership development
program at Elon University for local high school students, has received
a grant from the Piedmont Triad Partnership to assist with a program
that helps the teenagers prepare for internships and learn workplace
behavior expectations.

Tom Molony joins the Elon faculty after practicing law with the Charlotte firm of Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson. His practice focused on corporate and commercial law, public finance and bankruptcy.

the social media release appeared in the June 20-26 edition of the
Triad Business Journal in an article headlined “Elon professors
