After nearly a decade as a law librarian for public services at Fordham University’s law school, Kathleen McLeod comes to Elon with a teaching background in advanced legal research, having also served there as an adjunct professor.
McLeod belongs to the American Association of Law Libraries and the Law Library Association of Greater New York. She recently published a book review of “Concise Introduction to EU Private International Law” by Michael Bogdan in the Law Library Journal.
McLeod graduated from the Washington University School of Law in 1982 and earned her master’s of library science from Southern Connecticut State University in 1990. She first studied history and library science as an undergraduate at Syracuse University.
In addition to her duties leading the Elon Law library, McLeod also holds the position of associate professor of law.
Elon University School of Law has added nine newfull-time faculty members as the school prepares to enroll its thirdclass of students and reach full enrollment. With the new additions,the school will include 22 faculty and deans, four distinguishedin-residence faculty and coaches, and 20 administrators and staff. Thefall 2008 enrollment will be approximately 325.
