Rebecca Todd Peters, associate professor of religious studies, participated in a recent consultation sponsored by the World Alliance of Reformed Churches (WARC). “A Feminist Discourse on Economy, Ecology, and Empire” was held at the United Theological College of Bangalore, India, Aug. 12-17.
The consultation brought together eighteen feminist theologians and bible scholars from around the world to engage in north/south and ecumenical dialogue on the issues of economy, ecology and empire, and to offer a feminist contribution to existing ecumenical dialogues on these topics. Peters presented a paper on “Examining Globalization and Economics.”
