Hunter Bacot, an associate professor of political science and director of the Elon University Poll, was quoted in the April 6 edition of the Winston-Salem Journal in a story on the Democratic race for president. Staff writer James Romoser’s story looked at the importance Democratic voters are placing on the likelihood of either Sen. Hillary Clinton or Sen. Barack Obama defeating Republican Sen. John McCain in the general election for president in November.
Bacot said he believes that factor doesn’t influence voters too much.
