Glenn Scott joins in published overview of U.S. media system

An article jointly authored by assistant professor Glenn W. Scott appears in the newly released  International Encyclopedia of Communication, published by Wiley-Blackwell in conjunction with the International Communication Association.

Scott, a faculty member in Elon’s School of Communications, joined with mentors Donald L. Shaw and the late Robert L. Stevenson to produce an overview of the mass media system in the United States. 

Professor Wolfgang Donsbach of Dresden University of Technology in Germany edited the 12-volume encyclopedia.
