Elon University hosted a field day and seminar for the North Carolina Sports Turf Managers Association (NCSTMA) on Sept. 16.
About 65 people attended sessions on weed control, equipment, pesticide
label interpretation, fall overseeding methods and other topics. Larry
Rhodes, Elon’s Sports Turf Manager, coordinated the event and gave
those in attendance a tour of Elon’s athletics facilities.
