Robert “Bob” Anderson, as associate professor of political science, was one of four panelists Sept. 16 for a statewide television program where the upcoming presidential elections - and North Carolina’s possible role in determining who succeeds President George W. Bush - were discussed.
OPEN/net, a two-hour call-in program sponsored by the North Carolina state government, featured Anderson and three other guests knowledgeable about the political environment in the Tar Heel State, including News & Observer political columnist Rob Christensen; N.C. State associate professor Steven Greene; and Damon Circosta, director of policy with the North Carolina Center for Voter Education.
The site is part of the North Carolina Agency for Public Telecommunications. The program was recorded for future upload to the OPEN/net web site, though it was not available as of Sept. 17.
Anderson has offered frequent analysis for regional media in the lead up to the November presidential, U.S. Senate and gubernatorial elections.
