Bestselling author Jonathan Alter, a nationally recognized columnist for Newsweek and a contributing correspondent to NBC News, comes to Elon University on Sept. 29 to talk about politics, the media and the upcoming presidential campaign. In addition to his evening lecture, the public is invited to a question-and-answer opportunity at 4 p.m. in Whitley Auditorium.

Beginning this fall, alumni and parents are being encouraged to join the Elon Career Network (ECN), a new resource offered through Elon Career Services that allows students to connect with Elon alumni, parents and other supporters by using an online database that can be searched by profession, major, graduate degrees and current home location.
