Mary Gowan, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, was the opening speaker for the recent Piedmont Triad “Building the HR Road to Success” continuing education program.
Gowan’s presentation, “You’ve Determined Who’s on the Bench. Now What?” focused on succession planning. Specifically, she discussed what companies need to do once they have identified future leaders.
The program was held at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, N.C., on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008. Approximately 200 human resource professionals were in attendance for the presentation.
