Young alumni donate nearly $27,000 at IGNITE NITE dinners

Momentum continues to build for Elon’s new IGNITE young alumni giving program, which enables graduates of the past decade to give back to the university and make a difference in the lives of students.

ng alums have hosted eight IGNITE NITE dinners since the summer launch of the giving program. These events are a great way for young alums to find out more about this special donor recognition group, to join IGNITE and network with fellow alums.

Gifts to IGNITE help support the best of Elon: excellent faculty, outstanding facilities, scholarships and Elon’s signature programs, including study abroad, research, internships, service and leadership.

You can become a member of IGNITE by making a gift of any size to Elon. All young alums who have made gifts to the university since June 1, 2008, qualify for IGNITE membership. Elon’s fiscal year runs from June 1 to May 31.

Approximately 140 alumni have attended one of the IGNITE NITE dinners so far, raising a total of $26,786. The dinners held so far include the following:
