In response to the current shift in the economic climate, Phi Beta Kappa has organized a panel discussion on the current economic crisis co-hosted by the William Garrard Reed Finance Center and the student chapter of the Financial Management Association.
The discussion is scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, at 5 p.m. in the LaRose Digital Theater inside the Koury Business Center. The panel, which will answer questions from the audience, will include:
1.) Professor Steve DeLoach, Economics
2.) Chris Baker, Executive-in-Residence in Finance, former CFO of Capital Bank, and Elon Trustee
3.) John Slayton, CEO and President, The Trust Company Bank
4.) Kevin Kelly, former analyst and trader for Bear Stearns and an originator of credit derivatives and member of the Chandler Family Center for Professional Sales Center board of advisors.
Professor Bob Pavlik will serve as the moderator. There will be a reception prior to the event at 4:15 p.m. in the atrium of the Koury Business Center. The event is free and is open to the public.
