Wine 101 and exclusive tasting

Sunday, October 26, 1-5:30 p.m. $35/person with bus, $30/person without bus transportation
The Philip Carter Winery is hosting a Wine 101 and exclusive wine tasting for alumni. The event will provide an education on wine making basics, the different types of wine and guided tours of the facilities of their winery plus a private wine tasting consisting of 10 different wines followed by a glass of your favorite. Gourmet Virginia cheeses, meats and crackers will be provide during the tasting.
Motorcoach transportation will be provided from the Vienna Metro station and is included in the cost. The bus will leave at 1 p.m. from Vienna station, on the south side of I-66 near the “Kiss & Ride.” Alumni will return to the parking lot at 5:30 p.m.
