The Elon University School of Law is offering a free CLE program on Nov. 7, 2008, for anyone interested in the future of the U.S. financial markets and how they affect businesses from Wall Street to main Street, with a particular focus on attorneys advising individual and business clients.
“The U.S. Financial Markets: Advising Clients Through Turbulent Times” takes place from 2-3:30 p.m. in Room 207 of the law school at 201 N. Greene Street in Greensboro.
A panel of investment advisors, commercial bankers, and lawyers will discuss their perspectives on the current financial crisis, including the causes of the crisis, potential reforms to address those causes, and suggestions about how to advise clients during these difficult times.
Elon has applied for 1.5 hours of CLE credit.
