An article by Catherine Ross Dunham, an associate professor of law, has been accepted for publication in the Winter 2009 volume of the University of San Francisco Law Review. Dunham will also be hosting a national expert on electronic discovery on Nov. 10 in her Civil Procedures class.
“Zippo-ing the Wrong Way: How the Internet has Misdirected the Federal Courts’ Personal Jurisdiction Analysis” discusses the effect Internet-based activity has had on a certain area of procedural/constitutional jurisprudence.

And Dunham is hosting Cecil Lynn, a national expert on electronic discovery, in her course next month. Dunham said that electronic discovery is a “cutting edge topic in Civil Procedure that North Carolina courts are currently wrestling with.” Cecil was a hate crimes prosecutor for a number of years before entering private practice.
