Triche’s Short Films to be Screened at Cucalorus Film Festival

The Bars & Tone Experiment, five short films by Nicole Triche, an instructor in the School of Communications, will be screened Nov. 12 at the 14th Annual Cucalorus Film Festival in Wilmington, N.C.

The inaugural Study Abroad Forum on Nov. 11 will celebrate academic achievements of
students, alumni, faculty and staff, resulting from study abroad in a
variety of contexts including winter term, semester programs,
international service learning and internships. The campus community is invited to attend from 4:15-7:15 p.m. in the Moseley Center.

Elon University alumni returned to campus on Nov. 8 for a Homecoming
game against Western Carolina, but for many former students, football
was a footnote for a weekend filled with reunions and remembrances.
Students give Elon top marks in National Survey of Student Engagement

Compared with students at other colleges and universities across the
nation, Elon University students are much more likely to study abroad,
make class presentations, write papers, complete internships and work
closely with faculty members on projects outside of class. Those are among the findings of the 2008 National Survey of Student Engagement, released Nov. 10.
