A panel of Elon faculty and students will discuss the Obama presidency Jan. 16 in a McKinnon Hall event sponsored by the Multicultural Center, Phi Beta Kappa, the Council on Civic Engagement and the Office of Civic Engagement.
Panelists include:
Leon Williams, director of the Multicultural Center
Ashley Hairston, assistant professor of English
Jean Rohr, assistant professor of education
Keith McDaniel, pastor of Elon First Baptist Church
Daniel Shutt, Elon senior
Nicholas Ochsner, sophomore
The hour discussion begins at 11:30 a.m. with an opportunity for questions from the audience. The event is open to the Elon University community.
Organizers hope the discussion will be the first in a series of events “designed to maintain the high level of interest in the political process that this election has inspired.”
