Mary Gowan, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, was elected to a three-year term with the Alamance Chamber of Commerce in Alamance County, North Carolina.

Elon President Leo M. Lambert has been named a director of the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U), the leading national association concerned with the quality, vitality and public standing of undergraduate liberal arts and sciences education.

Twenty-nine students who spent Winter Term in South Africa collected money this fall to purchase gym uniforms, supplies and books for more than 155 children at a primary school that has worked with Elon University since last year through the Global Links Library and Literacy Campaign.
