If you are a member of a fraternity or sorority and you are interested in residing in your chapter facility in the Loy Center or Maynard Hall for the 2009-10 academic year, please contact your current chapter house manager or president for information. Each chapter has the responsibility to select those members who will reside in the chapter facility, therefore your house manager and president are your best resources to guide you through the process. Fraternity & Sorority Process
Individual students wishing to live in fraternity or sorority housing must pay a $200 housing reservation fee by 5:00 p.m. on Feb. 24. No receipt is needed. This fee can be paid over the phone (336.278.5300), online, or a check or credit card can be brought to the Bursar’s Office (Alamance 111).
Once the housing reservation fee payment is made it takes roughly 24 hours to process. Students will need to plan accordingly when applying for housing. Students will not be able to log in to the housing applications for approximately 24 hours after they submit their payment. In addition to the deposit, students must submit an online application between 8:00 a.m. on Feb. 20 and midnight on Feb. 23.
The Office of Greek Life will host a meeting on Feb. 23 to finalize the 2009-10 rooming roster. The rooming roster will be submitted by the chapter president to the Office of Greek Life at that time. All students in fraternity & sorority housing must complete their individual housing applications online between Feb. 20 and Feb. 24.
