DanceWorks 2009 will take place in the BlackBox Theater in the Center for the Performing Arts from February 28 through March 1.
DanceWorks is the only dance show entirely produced by students and open to the entire Elon campus. We provide a stage for all forms of dance from ballet and modern to tap, hip-hop, dance theater, and ballroom. The show we produce is the culmination of months of rehearsals and a series of auditions that every piece must go through.
The DanceWorks organization is proud to present this year’s show with a run time of 1 1/2 hours, and 14 different pieces ranging from flag dancing to swing dancing.
Friday, Feb. 27 @ 6 and 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 28 @ 6 and 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 1 @ 2 p.m.
We suggest arriving at the BlackBox Theater at least 1/2 hour early because it is open seating.
