A series of events aimed at strengthening personal and organizational leadership begins this week with a discussion by four Elon figures on key moments of leadership as an executive at Elon College and University. The LEADstrong 2009 campaign is sponsored by the Center for Leadership.

“Leadership, a Presidential Perspective”
Tuesday, February 24
7:30 p.m. in the LaRose Digital Theatre
RSVP to the Center for Leadership in Moseley 224 to confirm seating
Four presidents – Leo M. Lambert, Earl Danieley, Noel Allen and Chase Rumley – each share key moments of leadership as an executive of Elon College and University. The program is moderated by John Sullivan, a professor emeritus, and will conclude with an audience discussion.
“Leadership for Your Life”
Wednesday, February 25
7:30 p.m. in McKinnon Hall
Life entrepreneurs Christopher Gergen and Heather Graham will challenge students to take risks while creating a connection between professional and personal leadership.

Thursday, February 26
7 p.m. in Alumni Gym
LEADstrong is sponsoring the game, which will include a halftime show featuring a competition between different organization leaders.
“Leadership Development Institute”
Saturday, February 28

The leadership Development Institute is a capstone event on Feb. 28 to provide student leaders and advisers with an opportunity to improve campus organizations through interactive workshops and discussions centered on transitional leadership strategies.
